The second annual Dave Bookman tribute took place May 9 2025 at the Garrison in Toronto. Titled ‘Let’s Get Friendship Right’, friends and fans of the late radio personality and promoter gathered to sing songs by the Tragically Hip and by extension Gord Downie. It was a full line-up that included D-Rock alumni Tania Joy, Skye Wallace, Brendan Canning and Ryan Wayne. A personal highlight was Downie’s Secret Path band reunion doing ‘Seven Matches’. Reorientates one.
