Three decades in and Skydiggers are still very much part of and relevant to Canada’s roots music scene. Formed by Andy Maize and Josh Finlayson in 1990 the band have just released their latest single, the optimistic ‘ Dreams and Second Chances’. Its an earnest personal plea to a lover made moreso by Maize’s wavering vocal stylings.
The Skydiggers are also announcing a tour with a hometown show May 31 at the Concert Hall. Brooks and Bowskill will open.
