Cultivate celebrates 10th anniversary with Sloan plus more

Decisions decisions, its rare we have an abundance of riches but here we are. Cultivate Festival, the beauty homegrown outdoor country fest takes place Friday, September 20 to Sunday, September 22, 2024, the same weekend Convergence, the free outdoor street fest in Oshawa takes place. Did you ever have to make up your mind?

Cultivate Festival is celebrating ten years and those celebrations take place at Haute Goat Farm on the border of Durham Region and Port Hope, mostly Port Hope though. The line-up includes Haligonian rockers Sloan, plus Balkan party punks Lemon Bucket Orkestra, fiddling family Natalie MacMaster & Donnell Leahy & their Children, plus Union Duke, Tanika Charles, Tia Wood, Kobo Town and many more!

Plus this year there’s camping.

“We are incredibly excited about Cultivate Festival this year - it’s always been fun, but this year we’ve added camping which really contributes to the festival vibe,” says Cultivate Festival Director, Jeff Bray. “It’s a true farm-to-stage experience, and fun for people of all ages. Imagine some of Canada’s best music live on stage, bellies full of incredible food, breathtaking views for miles, and being surrounded by adorable farm animals. Cultivate is so much fun and Haute Goat is simply the best venue.”

Cultivate 2024 also features an all ages playground, an immersive arts experience, local food options, and yes goats

FREE for kids under 18 when accompanied by adult

Cultivate Festival was founded in 2015 to celebrate the remarkable local food and arts scene in Northumberland County. Cultivate is active all year long with Hibernate, a four-day multi-venue festival held over Family Day weekend and the Road to Cultivate, a weekly concert series in Downtown Port Hope in July and August. Cultivate Festival is presented by Cultivate Community, a non-profit entity, with a mission
