Singer/songwriter Evan Redsky of Mississaugi First Nation, and one time member of Single Mothers, oh and member of Indian Giver, and player with Altemeda and Wyatt C. Lewis as well as Nicolette and the Nobodies (busy dude) has released ‘Cosmic Carousel’, his first new release since his 2022 debut LP ‘Oblivion’ and its a cosmic country vibey thang yes but in words with a video which suggests turntable as portal but the sound is much more earthy, suggesting a Blue Rodeo Queen St era and a link to the past via Redsky’s time in Blind River, to maybe a 1965 Uncle Neil taking a trip south to ye olde Yorkville. The big time is just around the corner as the Hawk would say.
