Ken Yates album 'Total Cinema' is worth a look

Will McGuirk June 16, 2025

By Will McGuirk

There’s a subtle passion to Ken Yates’ track ‘Sidewinder’ - some Future Islands, some Don Henley, some Dan Mangan. The track is from his latest album ‘Total Cinema’ recorded with Dan Ledwell in Halifax so there’s some pop mysticism too like you’re listening to Two Hours Traffic on the car stereo but you’re in the back seat - sorry if thats all over the place but the song does travel so maybe follow along with Yates. I would.
