Some pals coming through the Shwa in October; Evan, Skye, Cuff the Duke are not to be missed
Evan Rotella is at the Local Lounge Oct 11 2024. Rotella has been through town a few times and is gathering up the fans. Its been a year since he dropped his debut album, ‘Happy To Be Here’ so I’m guessing some new tunes on the set list.
Rocker Skye Wallace came by the shop to listen to the test pressing of her latest album, really great stuff, hints of Kate Bush, Feist, and Sinead O’Conner, maybe soft power rock, maybe thats a new genre. There will be an airing of these tracks I’m sure.
Alt-country stalwarts Cuff the Duke are back after a decade off with a new record ‘Breaking Dawn’. Cuff will be playing a very intimate show in Oshawa at Frere Du Nord Saturday Oct 12. Its very intimate so get your tickets soon as.
