Lennon Stella's mid-summer night's dream, Nashville star opens for The Chainsmokers Aug 8 in TO

When I was driving up to #booksbridge I would listen to the 105.5 FM, the hits hit station, and I would regularly hear Lennon Stella’s single “Bad” - occasionally it would sync up while I was passing Ashburn, the one time home of The Stella family and occasionally the sweet rhinestones and feathers slide of it would sync up with one of the slow curves on Reach Road. One notices these things. Folks are noticing Lennon Stella and she now has a gig opening for The Chainsmokers world tour. The gang will be in Toronto at the Scotiabank Arena

Lindi Ortega to release all-instrumental album; 'Liberty: Piano Songbook'

Pickering-raised, Nashville-based alt-country singer/songwriter, Lindi Ortega, will release, on Jan 25 2019, an instrumental version of ‘Liberty’, her widely acclaimed album inspired by the soundtracks of the spaghetti Western genre, which was released March 2018.

The first single from ‘Liberty: Piano Songbook’, “In The Clear” is now available. The track is cinematic and evocative, one can imagine Garth Hudson in the corner of a dusty saloon, slats of light on the keys. Ortega teamed up with Liberty producer Skylar Wilson and multi-instrumentalist Robbie Crowell for Piano Songbook. Its Crowell on piano on “In The Clear.”

Beginning February 5, Ortega will be touring dates in Canada with Terra Lightfoot and Begonia and on into the USA with special guests TBA.

Nashville star Lennon Stella's releases new track 'Bad' - less Blake, more Drake

Lennon Stella, star of the TV show Nashville, and eldest daughter of The Stellas, recently signed to Records/ Columbia Records and has just released a demo version of her single "Bad". Its a whole lot more city than country, with a Hotline Bling-ish hook. 

Lindi Ortega is back with a new song and new tour, new album released soon

Lindi Ortega mixes surf and turf on her new track "The Comeback Kid". Its a long black veiled murder ballad, all earthy beats and sorrowful twangs, from her album 'Liberty', a concept album in three acts. The Comeback Kid comes with a tombstone canyon cartoon video - Its the best of Western and a sweet treat. Fans will soon be treated to a cross- America/Canada tour with dates below the videos. 'Liberty' for all March 30.

Donovan Woods is on fire on 'Burn That Bridge', new single out

The woodsy timbred Woods goes all Broken Social Steen on the first single "Burn That Bridge" from his new album 'Both Ways'. The track rolls like a hug of thunder down Thunder Road, or the anthemic leaning Bruce covering Anthems for a Seventeen Year Old Girl.
