Song goes out, if it loves you song comes back - Dizzy has a number of their songs go out and come back, flight filtered via ears and hearts of others. There is a timeline to the result, a succession of reveals, but first is Luna Li, the TO musician who shares this track, a behind the scenes look at “The Magician” with the band.

The tracks with other yet to be unveiled artists, will form an EP, ‘Separate Places’ and will be fully available June 11 on Royal Mountain/Communion Records.

The Oshawa, ON, based Dizzy have been nominated for Alternative Album of the Year at the 2021 Junos. for their record, “The Sun and Her Scorch.’

METZ releases 'A Boat to Drown In', new album 'Atlas Vending' drops in the Fall

Will McGuirk July 21, 2020

By Will McGuirk

Intriguing video and then the Furry shows up unleashing the fury of this new track from METZ. “A Boat to Drown In” is the first single from the upcoming album, ‘Atlas Vending’, which will be out October 9, 2020, on Royal Mountain/ Sub Pop.

The single is a relentless headbanger, a numbing number that weighs in at over 7 minutes! and opens up a whole ship’s container of anticipation for the album itself. Its also the musical equivalent of pounding out day after day, blow after blow, a bloodied beating of this pandemic.

'Disgraced In America', new track from Ought released

Will McGuirk January 17, 2018

The Stranglers were able to move from "Do You Wanna" to "Golden Brown" without losing their grip on what made them Stranglers. Montreal's Ought manage the same feat - they move between Television waves and Radiohead nods with some Stranglers' sneer too on the track "Disgraced In America", the latest from their new record, 'Room Inside the World' due February 16 2018 on Royal Mountain. The video is by Heather Rappard and animates the spaces in between the fragments of the track - moving between - I guess somewhat in the manner The Stranglers were wont to do. Ought have a North American/ European tour in March with a date at Lee's in Toronto Mar 7.

Here's the previously released track, These 3 Things
